Our journey began in 2018, driven by a shared passion for travel and connection. Both of us grew up in entrepreneurial families, which instilled a strong sense of innovation and determination in us from a young age. With degrees in finance and law, combined with exceptional planning and organizational skills, we bring a solid business foundation to everything we do.
Our corporate backgrounds have further shaped our approach, allowing us to bring a professional yet personal touch to every project. Our passion for travel, languages, and different cultures fuels our drive to create meaningful experiences. Cross Border Travel is aware of the negative effects of travel on the climate, nature, and environment. However, it's equally important to highlight the positive aspects of travel, such as the economic development of destinations, the physical and mental well-being of travelers who also learn about different cultures, religions, traditions, and customs, and the protection of nature at the destinations. We aim to minimize negative impacts as much as possible and maximize the positive effects of travel.
Well-Prepared and Consciously Trips
We are here to inform, advise, and inspire. We offer our clients alternatives with lower CO2 emissions in terms of transportation, accommodation, and excursions, while ensuring as much positive impact on the destination as possible. This might include traveling by train instead of by plane, renting an electric car for a road trip, staying in an ecolodge run by the local community, or joining a bike tour to explore a city. We encourage and motivate our suppliers to run their businesses as responsibly and sustainably as possible. Various criteria are considered, including the protection of nature and culture, energy and water usage, health and hygiene, labor conditions, local management and training, local sourcing, the use of organic products and materials, waste management, plastic reduction, and safety.

Together with our clients we set-up local initiatives in the area that we travel to and really contribute to specific needs they have in that region. As we travel a lot to Morocco, we have recently contributed to a local school project in the Atlas Mountains.
